OK sorry. Today I was way more tiered than yesterday because against good judgement I brought along two new books and probably only got about four hours sleep. OK maby five I just remembered how mad I was when I slept through breakfast. But today I did go to the castle ruin and took pictures so please forgive me. This particular castle was attacked by the French forever ago and instead of trying to blast through the five foot thick walls from the outside the Frenchies simply set fire to the gunpowder that was already in the turret and blew it up from the inside. I was pretty mad though because the people who run the castle wan't let you go hardly anywhere inside it unless you purchace a tour.
Hello again, sorry about not writing yesterday I was way too tiered. Almost everyone in this city has window boxes. They pour from the windows like brilliantly colored waterfalls. The balcony off my bedroom is practically engulfed in sweet smelling flowers. Anyway that was my so-not-impressive little rant about something georgous I saw. This entry ant the two bellow it are about yeasterday.
This is the Moor house (forgive me if I spelled it wrong). When I was six years old my Grandfather and Grandmother were living in this over 100 year old house as teachers and my family visited them for Christmas. I don't remember too much from this visit but I did remember the Moor House.

This is one of the cobble-stone streets of Hidelberg. Advice: not a good idea in stilleto heels.

This is the view from our room, which is large, simply furnished, and smells like cigarette smoke, but then what part of Hidelberg dosn't or what part of Germany for that matter. But seriosly it is actually a pretty good smell when I open the window, cigarette smoke mixed with rain and gasoline. If I could bottle that up it would make a great colone but its not verry feminine.

This is me and my Grandfather waiting for the train to take us to Hidelberg. A little advice: NEVER travel 2nd class whan you have SIX large pieces of luggage with you. I dan't understand German and while mad people were shoving past us I was glad for that.

Hello everyone, I'm afraid you won't be getting much of an entry tonight. Sorry. I'm soooo out of it. I mean when you combine jet lag and already missing a nights sleep because you can't sleep on the plane no matter how hard you try, and you are way to excited by your new book, and the fact that you can see the stars from your window without the smog in tthe way and you get to watch the sun rise. First just a faint suggestion of what you think is lightness, then layers of deep blue and pale yellow smeared together by the hand of God himself, to scarlet rose, and finally breaking out into the most billiant orange sunrise, made twice as brilliant by the fact that for once the clouds are reflecting it up to you instead of covering the sky above you. Sorry got carried away I guess. And Miss Dawson if you and your class are reading this like you said you would I don't care how gramatically incorrect I am OR how bad my spelling is. This picture is of me at the airport before boarding.
